Hesston Emergency Services 
Hesston Emergency Services provides fire protection and emergency medical assistance to approximately 5000 residents with the City of Hesston and portions of Harvey and McPherson Counties. Our primary response area encompasses 75 square miles. Hesston has a combination department comprised of a full-time director of emergency services, administrative assistant, fire marshal and 27 paid-per-call volunteers. We provide mutual aid to all of Harvey County (six departments in total, population 33,843) as well as parts of McPherson, Marion, Butler and Sedgwick Counties.
Hesston Emergency Services is a highly respected and dedicated group of volunteers in the community. We take great pride in that reputation.

Fire Training standards require a Firefighter I certification within one year of employment. Certification is paid for by Hesston Emergency Services with a one year commitment.
