Community Service Program

The Community Service Program was established for the City of Hesston Kansas, with the purpose of providing City funds to organizations exempt from state and local taxation under section 501 c (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to operate community service programs exclusively within the City of Hesston Kansas for the benefit of the residents of the City of Hesston Kansas.

Applications are reviewed by the HAEDC (Hesston Area Economic Development Corporation) board in November. The HAEDC board makes recommendations to the Hesston City Council who considers the grant applications at the December council meeting. Grant recipients are then reimbursed for grant approved expenses.

To apply, fill out the Community Service Program Funding Request (pdf) form and submit it to the City Clerk at 115 E Smith St, Hesston.
