City Recycling Update

UPDATE 4/14/22:

On April 11, 2022, at a duly scheduled city council meeting the governing body voted unanimously to continue recycling services to the community. The service fee will increase by $2.50 per resident, per month, effective May 1, 2022.

This agreement is with the same vendor so there will not be a void in the service. Pickup schedules will remain the same.

Also effective May 1, 2022, all recyclable cardboard that cannot fit into your recycle bin should be taken to one of the cardboard receptacles that will be pre-positioned within the community. One container will be placed in the King Park parking lot and one will be placed in Ridge Rointe on the parcel nearest the intersection of Ridge and Old 81.

This is being done to keep the recycling schedule the same as we are currently operating and hold the price increase at $2.50. If additional runs have to be made it may increase the cost of recycling. Please cooperate by taking all cardboard that can't be placed inside your curbside bin to one of these two locations. Thank you!
